About

Examiners should spend their time examining.

Examiners are scarce, and most of their week goes to admin.

Designated pilot examiners conduct most practical tests in the United States. Many run their practice alone, booking rides by text and phone, checking documents on the morning of the ride, and entering the same details into DMS and IACRA after every flight.

Applicants feel it too. Wait times stretch for weeks, fees and policies are hard to find, and a missing endorsement can cancel a ride that took months to schedule.

DPE Portal gives examiners one place to run their practice, and gives applicants and schools a clear, honest way to book. We want examiners spending more of their week on checkrides and fewer rides lost to paperwork.

How we build

The examiner decides Fees, policies, who to accept, and every filing stay with the person who holds the designation.
Prices shown up front Applicants see the full fee and cancellation policy before they pay. No booking fees.
Verified, not just listed Designations are checked when an examiner joins and every 30 days after. Reviews only come from completed rides.
Built on the ramp Every feature is tested with working examiners before it ships.
